Liminalis1. Who we are and what these terms cover
PLACEHOLDER: legal entity name, registered address, and jurisdiction of incorporation. These terms govern your use of the Liminalis web application, the Liminalis desktop client, and the programmatic interfaces described in the developer documentation (together, “the Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account, including activity by API keys you create. PLACEHOLDER: minimum age, account accuracy obligations, suspension grounds, and the process for regaining access to a compromised account.
3. Your content
You own the documents you create and upload. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your material to us.
To operate the Service we need a limited licence to store, process, transmit and display your content — including sending relevant portions of it to third-party model providers in order to answer your requests. PLACEHOLDER: precise scope, duration and termination of that licence, and the position on derived artifacts such as embeddings, extracted entities and generated summaries.
4. Generated output
The Service produces output using third-party language models. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to output produced for other users. PLACEHOLDER: allocation of rights in generated output, disclaimers regarding accuracy and originality, and your responsibility for reviewing output before relying on it.
You are responsible for how you use output from the Service. It is not legal, medical, financial or professional advice.
5. Acceptable use
Your use of the Service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Fees, credits and subscriptions
Usage is metered in credits and may be purchased outright or funded by a subscription. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are governed by the Subscription & Billing Terms. PLACEHOLDER: tax handling, currency, and the effect of non-payment.
7. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party providers for language models, embeddings, payment processing and, where you enable it, identity and virtual-tabletop integrations. PLACEHOLDER: named providers, their role, and the effect of their terms on yours.
8. Availability and changes
PLACEHOLDER: service level commitments if any, planned maintenance, and the notice given before materially adverse changes to the Service or these terms.
9. Data export and portability

10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time — see Account & Data Deletion. PLACEHOLDER: our grounds for suspension or termination, notice periods, and treatment of unused credits on termination.
